Online Peer-to-peer session #2: Presenting your film

To be a successful artist or filmmaker, talent alone is not enough. Being a filmmaker means that about half of your time is spent on making sure you can actually make your film, such as writing applications, maintaining social media and building up a network. There is no handbook for these activities. How can you make it inspiring for yourself instead of a burden? That’s why we want to create a space where artists can exchange their experiences, obstacles and tips during three online Peer-to-peer sessions, each focusing on a different theme. Check out the facebook event.

How do you communicate what your film is about in a tagline or synopsis? This session we’ll focus on writing as a way of communicating about your film or about yourself in the form of a biography. You are welcome to bring examples of your texts and ask specific questions about this.

Practical:

  • For filmmakers and artists working with film in any stage of their career.

  • You are welcome to join all sessions, but they can also be visited independently.

  • Free entrance.

  • Sign up and questions via rosa@videopower.eu

  • The Peer-to-peer sessions take place online via Zoom. After registration you will receive the link.
