ABOUT US

Video Power is a non-profit organization dedicated to process-driven filmmaking practices such as experimental film, documentary and video art.

We support filmmakers whose drive is deeply personal and who shape the meaning of their work organically.

Since 2013, Video Power has produced close to 80 films that put across a distinct view of the world and are recognised on national and international stages.

With the explicit goal of community building, we organize screenings, workshops and talks.

In a competitive film landscape, Video Power strives to do things differently, with care and support.

FOR FILMMAKERS

Passionate about an idea but feel like you could use a sparring partner? Looking for technical support and the guidance of one of our experienced producers?

Video Power is open to any genre or experience level. All you need is love for cinema, a strong personal drive and the willingness to put in the hours.

*Please note that Video Power does not consider spontaneous submissions. Projects are selected through either the pitches or open calls.

FOR FILM LOVERS

Our films can be seen in many different places, from festival to art space, from TV program to community centre. To find out what’s screening where, follow our instagram.

Although our films are quite diverse, what binds them is their willingness to go beyond conventional narrative forms in order to express a unique personal perspective.
